Membership

There are four categories of membership of the Association of Engineering Doctorates, three corporate and one individual (see the AEngD constitution).

• Industrial doctorate centres (IDCs), Affiliates and other organisations benefit from AEngD membership through their involvement and collaboration with EPSRC and other IDCs in developing the EngD brand, and promoting it to industry sponsors, UK government and other potential stakeholders.
• Individual AEngD members include current research engineers (REs), successful graduates of EngD programmes, IDC academics, and people from industry sponsors and other organisations interested in the EngD (in short, people from across all the corporate membership categories). There are significant benefits to individuals across all these groups.

AEngD members can (when logged in):

• create personal profiles
• participate in discussions in the AEngD Members' Forum
• create events, and
• share outputs from their research

IDC members of the AEngD can publish news, content and vacancies, list their sponsors and display their logo on the AEngD site.
