The Research Engineer will consider to re-think the way the ice pigging has been done so far. A systems approach will be crucial to harmonise the customer needs/requirements with what is engineering possible whilst minimising energy use and detrimental impact on the environment (using minimum pumping energy, minimising factory footprint, keeping complexity to a minimum, whilst enhancing the performance/functionality of the pig at the point of delivery into the customer ductwork).
