3TU.School for Technological Design, Stan Ackermans Institute
Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Twente

The three leading universities of technology in the Netherlands - Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Twente - have joined forces to form the 3TU.Federation.

This federation maximises innovation by combining and concentrating strengths in research, education and knowledge transfer. As part of this intensive cooperation, the three Dutch universities of technology decided in 2006 to combine their technological designer programmes in the 3TU.School for Technological Design, Stan Ackermans Institute.

Together the three Dutch universities of technology offer approximately 20 two-year Professional Doctorate in Engineering programmes.
