I graduated from the University of Surrey with a Masters in Physics in 2009, having undertaken a research year as a member of the Theory and Advanced Computation group at the Advanced Technology Institute of Surrey.
In 2010 I joined Tesco and the CICE, the Centre for Innovative and Collaborative Engineering at Loughborough University, as a Research Engineer. The aim of my project is to develop modelling tools for predicting the future energy consumption of buildings in the Tesco estate. Currently I am analysing the existing energy data, trying to identify and establish correlations with factors that affect the energy consumption; such as weather, day of the week, projects carried out, sales data or even promotions in store.
